Trilene Knot

Also known as the Two Turn Clinch Knot.

Trilene Knot

The Trilene Knot is a hitch knot that was developed in conjunction with the Berkley Fishing company, which is why the knot is known by the same name as Berkley’s brand of fishing line. The Trilene Knot is one of several variants of the classic Clinch Knot, and has a structure very similar to the Reverse Improved Clinch Knot. The key component is the initial double wrap of the line through the eye of the terminal tackle, after which it is essentially tied the same way as the traditional Clinch Knot.
